Why USA Doesn't Care about Education

The country spends much of its time creating fear to justify its military arms industry, rape of international natural resources and people, and capitalism blind of its external costs. If USA spent more money on quality education to create brighter, smarter, more emotionally supported citizens, the graduates of this system would question these decisions and change them. Instead, students are shuffled through a system of outdated ideas only to have to start over and relearn a new context for their lives as they exit into the modern reality that is current adult life. Better ways will create themselves in an updated world whether by nature’s force or human decision making. Whether we will wait for our demise or be proactive is our only decision. My response and decision, as a result, is to proactively teach youth to avoid the pitfalls of their surroundings and harness their natural gifts. I bet many professional teachers wish they were supported in doing the same.
