Married parents Shhor (Siobhan Bonny-O’Rourke) and Miles Bonny met in Melbourne, Australia while they were each on their solo paths as performing musicians. Miles Bonny is the Lumberjack Soul singing and flugelhorn-playing underground legend with a track record of working with premier dance and hip hop producers including Kenny Dope, Osunlade, Waajeed, Karizma, CoFlo, Ta-Ku, DJ Day, Tall Black Guy, Suff Daddy, Brenk Sinatra, J. Rawls and many more. His music has taken him through Europe as well as Australia, where he met Shhor. Shhor is the Tasmanian-born Melbourne songstress who has been produced by Louie Vega, M-Phazes, Mike Steva and a part of the same Australian music scene that launched Hiatus Kaiyote, Rita Satch, Allysha Joy, and Audrey Powne. While Miles visited Melbourne to perform with Osunlade, he met Shhor, and the rest is history. These Letters from the Desert were written during their lives in New Mexico USA, and they have been performing across the globe ever since. Their profanity-free album is now embaraced by parents and children alike.
