Miles is a Musician and a Father. But Miles is also an Educator and Community Supporter. With over 15 years of experience in professional community work, he has worked in High Schools and Pre-K Schools, been a case manager in both Kansas and New Mexico, and extensive work with homeless youth shelters and street outreach leadership. He is also an active Narcan trainer who helps communities prevent Opioid Overdoses. Oh and he is also a one on one coach to teenagers and young adults who can benefit from additional support toward their educational and employment goals.

EXPLORE SOUNDS

Was a weekly Elementary Music for young artists in Pre-K & Elementary school, ages 5-12. 
+ Helping support children as they explore and develop their motor skills, ear training, public confidence, sound, rhythm, and tone exploration in a small group setting. This program was utilized regularly in preschools and is now present for special events focused on youth engagement. Since this was active, expanded programming has been activated to engage middle school and high school students.
 

INTERNATIONAL CULTURAL RESIDENCIES

Miles Bonny and Shhor enjoy collaborating with world communities in creative expression.  Most recently, they were invited to reside in Lublin, Poland and complete a month long program leading workshops on instrumental and vocal music in collaboration with local artists. Weekdays were spent teaching primarily in Lublin and weekends were spent traveling the country and meeting and working with others around the country and beyond.  As a final project, a live performance and collaborative song were completed.
